On Paperstac, you can have multiple accounts but only one identity. On login, you will be given the screen to begin the verification process. Clicking on the start verification button will take you to a vendor partner for the verification process.
No data is ever stored on our servers. Stripe.com initiates the verification process, which will be used for KYC (Know Your Customer).
If you want to learn more about Stripe's verification process, please review this FAQ page.
You can complete the verification in several different ways: SMS (entering your phone number and having a link sent to you), Email, QR Code, or a Link that opens another window.
Using the Email method or the Link will use your webcam to finish the process.
Suppose you are attempting the verification process via phone or QR code. In that case, you must be logged in to Paperstac on your mobile browser with the current identity you used to start the verification process.
You're given three verification options: driver's license, identity card, or passport.
Stripe will confirm your identity using biometric technology that uses images of you and your identification and other data sources.
Verify that your mobile browser is allowed to access your camera. Once you've granted access, take a picture of the front of your Driver's License, Identity Card, or Passport
then take a picture of the back of your Driver's License, Identity Card, or Passport.
If your identification card is recognized as being already used with another identity, you can use the Merge Identity Tool.
You will be prompted with a wizard that will allow you to merge the identities.
You will be presented with a screen to export one of the identities (delete that identity on the merge).
You're then given the screen to verification you'd like to keep. Enter that in, and the other identity will be merged into this identity.
After successfully merging the identities, you will be shown a success screen.
After merging your accounts, all transactions and account details will be imported under the Identity you decided to keep. In the example above, all details of the account associated with [email protected] will now be accessible when you log in with [email protected].
